About The Event
Reject food fights! Join Mixolo for Chef's Expressions' kumbaya cooking demonstration to help you navigate your holiday dinners and beyond. You don't need a plus-one with Mixolo. Come solo and find your plus-some.
Our chef will explore a few of the -isms (from veganism to carnivorism) and apply some creativity to some of the food accommodations we consider within our own family and friend circles when we prepare food, dine out, and as part of our individual exploration of different types of diets.
Chef's Expressions' chefs have prepared for every preference under the sun and mastered the art of substituting ingredients to accommodate those pesky and growing food allergies as well. Their fearless leader, Chef Jerry Edwards, has traveled around the world elevating the culinary experience, but not just for well-heeled. He is a philanthropist and hands-on giver on many noble and impactful causes.
While we realize you may not be entertaining at the level of Chef's Expressions, a top preferred caterer in the region, you will leave with a greater awareness of the nuances between the food preferences as we sample a special dish interpreted more than one way to satisfy a few of the -isms.
Chef's Expressions promotes the art of dining and the enriching benefits of sharing the experience with others. Perfect for Mixolo, our group of ex-strangers making new connections.
What's included in my ticket price?
We'll enjoy an up-close demonstration and dynamic lecture by one of Chef's Expressions' top chefs and 5 holiday-themed hors-d'oeuvres. We'll enjoy a wine tasting and choose from wine or a signature cocktail to pair with our bites. Other non-alcoholic beverages will be available.
Of course, no price tag can be placed on the promising new connections we hope you'll make at every Mixolo event.
