About The Event

Horror classic, Dracula, particularly Bram Stoker’s original story, has inhabited humankind’s psyche for centuries, emulated and adopted by many in literature, film and on stage.  Vampires are still hot.  Transylvania’s prince, Count Dracula is back, center stage, at Chesapeake Shakespeare Company and you're invited.  #noplusonerequired

Rightly heralded by Chesapeake Shakespeare Company as the greatest vampire of all time, their stage adaptation promises to be replete with the usual suspects, spooky estates, insane asylums, butlers and eternal love.  As with every tragic protagonist, Dracula has an enemy obsessed with eliminating him and his kind.

The Chesapeake Shakespeare Company Theater and cultural center, located near the Inner Harbor in Downtown Baltimore,  opened in September 2014. This achievement was made possible with the support of devoted audiences and individual, corporate, philanthropic and governmental partners.  CSC transformed a 19th Century landmark bank building into a modern 260-seat theater inspired by Shakespeare’s Globe.   The Chesapeake Shakespeare Company (CSC) began in 2002 with a small group of artists committed to changing how people think about Shakespeare, by producing shows that allowed audiences to connect to classic works in whole new ways – ways that are fresh, innovative and sustainable.

Your ticket purchase grants you entry to the performance on Friday, October 25, 2019 with Mixolo. Mixolo attendees will be seated together.

Tickets to this performance are also open to the public on Chesapeake Shakespeare Company's website

Guests will be able to park in a covered lot at Arrow Parking on Water Street. Arrow offers $5 parking when you provide them with a CSC coupon (available inside the theater) upon exiting the garage. The well-lighted garage is located one block south of the theater, with entrances on both Lombard and Water Streets between Calvert and South Streets.
