POSTPONED: Mixolo Goes out for Happy Hour and a B.I.G. show!

Ever been to two happy hours in one night?  There's way too much fun to be had in our nation's first Arts and Entertainment District, Baltimore's Station North.  Home of Maryland Institute College of Art (MICA), Hopkins Film School and two of the nation's most celebrated movie theaters dedicated to independent film, but we had to choose just two venues for this event.

There are no advance ticket fees!  Mixolo enjoys curating experiences in cool public spaces!  Most of these events will involve self-pay options for food and drink.  We only ask that we register with Mixolo if you'd like to join us. These events arranged independently of the venues.

For this experience, we'll drop into Pen and Quill for refreshments starting at 5:30 PM.  If you've been to Pen and Quill restaurant and bar, you know that their elegantly casual bar space is considered one of the most welcoming in Baltimore for happy hour fun. They serve up mocktails, too!  Teetotalers need not miss out.

Then, just four doors up and one curtain away, we'll take in more happy hour, in the literal sense, for Baltimore Improv Group's "Plan B "  7:00 PM Friday happy hour performance. While admission is free, BIG is a non-profit arts organization and donations are welcomed and encouraged.   Mixolo will be setting reserving 8 tickets for the show, however, we will establish a waiting list for additional reservations if we are able to secure them.  Don't wait!!

What's included in my registration?

Please register only if you are interested in attending.  We'll communicate by email to registrants on updates to our plans for the evening.  Please watch your email closely.  

Our "Mixolo Goes Out" community events are meant to foster connection in our growing network of ready-to-to-solos with no entry fee activities.  Drinks and snacks are self-pay.  New connections, priceless.

Is this event restricted to Mixolo early adopter members?

Mixolo is organizing our members independent of the venue.  If you'd like to attend with Mixolo for a shared experience, we ask that you register here with Mixolo in mind as a social network that you will consider joining.  We are a network of solo adults pursuing the things we love to do and sharing fun experiences with other like-minded adults.   

When you register for this event, we will ask for basic identifying information that will automatically qualify you as an early adopter member and subscriber.

Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event?

The minimum age for this event will be 21. ID will be required, as alcoholic beverages will be offered.  Please be prepared to present your state ID or driver’s license upon request.   

Parking/transportation.

Around Pen and Quill and BIG's performance space,  you'll find limited street parking, a pay garage with reasonable fixed price fees directly across the street, and a pay lot next to Pen and Quill that travelers use for Baltimore's Penn Station but also open to the public.   

You may also consider public transportation or ride-share options for a worry-free evening.
